Love for the Newbies

Tuesday is bike day on my schedule. It's not my favorite day, because it's hard to keep it interesting just riding along on that stationery bike. Even the playlist gets a little boring.

Fortunately, my gym keeps its bikes up on a balcony, so you can spend the time watching all of the  action on the floor below. This makes me appreciate the new members at the gym; they really mix up the scene.

The other day, I wrote about how the new year was bringing those new gym members to the pool, which is, well, tiny. But back in September, I was one of those new people at the pool, too, so I guess it's all relative. And there should be room for more patience from me, even in a tiny pool.
